Raise your wing… oops, hand, if you know that September is National Chicken Month in the USA!

As the summer grilling season sizzles out, September is targeted by the National Chicken Council and chicken producers across the country as the month to promote the sale of America’s most-consumed meat.

Interestingly, several other days have been marked on the calender to put the spotlight on chickens. For example, International Respect for Chickens Day (4 May 2023), National Fried Chicken Day (6 July 2023), World Chicken Day (12 Oct 2023) and World Butter Chicken Day or International Chicken & Waffles Day (20 Oct 2023). What a bird!
