With the pandemic still not abating, it has been over a year since most of us have gone on an overseas vacation. But probably more than ever, Singaporeans have had the opportunity to rediscover many interesting places on our little island state and therefore, still get to relax and unwind without having to cross borders.
Here are the some of the recent day trips and staycations shared by our Facebook followers.
Activities and group sizes shown in the photos were in adherence to Singapore’s safe management regulations at the time the photos were taken.
I went to Flower Dome and Cloud Forest (at Gardens by the Bay). It was so fun because not only was it my first trip with my baby, but also because of the Hello Kitty flower theme. Hello Kitty is My Favourite! We enjoyed this day trip using the Singaporediscovers vouchers, allowing us to re-channel our own money for food around the Dome. The flowers were beautiful and eye-catching and certainly this trip was worth our family time! @Mei Ching Chew
The best LOCAL Staycation at our beautiful Island – SENTOSA! @Ling Tan
Loved this JW Marriott Hotel staycation. We had great food and great service during the staycation! @Karen Tan
Baked our own cake for the first time. Learning something new was a fun and interesting experience at ABC cooking studio. @MicHelle Ang Xing Yee
Staying at Grand Park City Hall was a whole new experience for us; we were blown away and really impressed with the hotel features and welcoming services. The memories we make with our family is everything. @Esther Li Fj
No overseas trip (for us) but spending time together with our loved ones in hotel can be fun as well. The most important thing is for everyone to stay safe and healthy. @Julie Tan
The unparalleled views of the Marina Bay skyline were ours to admire when we experienced a well-deserved Club level staycation at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore. @Ajeek Syasya
During the Covid-19 pandemic, my beloved mum and I got to have a great time during our several staycations last year, from The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, JW Marriott Hotel Singapore to The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore. Thumb up!!! @May Kho
